Introduction

The Graubünden Marathon took place for the first time at 06/28/2003. It was the hardest marathon of the world on the classical distance of 42.2 km or 26 miles.
It started in the city of Chur  and climbed up 2727 m (more than 9,000 feet) until to the Paparner Rothorn in a height of about 2860 m (about nearly 10,000 feet).

Here you will see many pictures which I made at my 7 1/2 hours during run at this fascinating mountain marathon in East Switzerland.

You find the official website of the organizer of this marathon at http://www.graubuenden-marathon.ch

The next Graubuenden Marathon: 06/26/2004!
